At the helm of Studio Number 9 is John Knight. John enjoyed success as a fashion photographer for 20 years in the UK, where he helped establish the Photo Art Society, and for 5 years ran a well-respected Vintage and Couture shop. Having organised many Fine Art shoots alongside other photographers, in recent years his work has been exhibited in galleries internationally. 

 

Having now relocated to France, John runs a boutique hotel from which he is able to offer his Studio Breaks & Tuition packages. The stunning surroundings of his 18th Century mansion paired with his extensive collection of fine vintage fashion make for a fantastic photography destination.

His Studio Breaks are made possible in part due to John's fantastic network of models; he is proud to have built close friendships and trusted working relationships with some of the "loveliest and most sought-after" models in the UK, and is now enjoying adding French and European beauties to his repertoire.
