Maison Numéro Neuf

A few meandering steps from the Market Square will lead you to our house. Maison Numero Neuf is a beautiful 18th Century mansion, built in classical proportions in the 1790s by the Marquis de Valady.  Tucked away in an historic medieval town, the house functioned as the family home of the Marquis for over 200 years. And now, still retaining its charm and ambience, it's our home!

An oasis of elegance and calm in an idyllic location, the house is perfectly placed for exploring the countryside of the Limousin. Alternatively, relax on the terrace that fills with sunshine and leads out into our delightful secluded garden and courtyard. Naturally photogenic, the house features a French Empire Salon, Panelled Dining Room, Picture Gallery and a Library. It is also home to our loft studio, offering a professional photographic space in which your ideas can be brought to life.

At the house, we provide a selection of tastefully furnished single and double bedrooms, plus 3 suites sleeping up to 5 adults, with most having a private bath or shower. All rooms are fully equipped as standard with Wi-Fi, television and espresso machine.

All residents will be able to enjoy three meals a day during their stay. We serve a mixture of lighter French cuisine and other Mediterranean cuisines, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and following the seasons.; our menu is inspired by what is good at the market on the day! We also have an ever changing and eclectic choice of wines available.

Non participating partners or guests are welcome to stay with you at Maison Numéro Neuf, at the cost of an additional 50€ per night. Secure, private parking is available on-site for our guests.
