About our house
Maison Numero Neuf is a beautiful 18th Century mansion set amongst an historic medieval town in central France. Naturally photogenic, the house offers a French Empire Salon, Panelled Dining Room and a Library, as well as landscaped gardens. It is also home to our loft studio.

The surrounding area is sparsely populated, with charming villages nestled between rivers and lakes. The landscape here is a scenic one; peppered with grand chateaux and crumbling ruins that make for stunning backdrops.
About our studio
For our guests armed with cameras, the studio is where the magic happens. Fitted with comprehensive lighting and an editing suite, as well as an assortment of sets and props, our studio offers a professional space in which your ideas can come to life.

As part of your studio experience, you will also access our repertoire of professional models and an extensive collection of vintage fashion in which they can be dressed.
John Knight
At the helm of Studio Number 9 is John Knight. John enjoyed success as a fashion photographer for 20 years, and for five years ran a well-respected Vintage and Couture clothing shop in the United Kingdom. In recent years his work has been exhibited in galleries internationally.
John's specialism in Fine Art & Nude photography is evident in his work, and he is delighted to share his wealth of experience during our Studio Breaks. You can view a showcase of some of John's recent work with our talented models below.
